So Proud!

We had Parent Teacher Conferences last night. While Mommy was flying solo (daddy making the big buck on a side job) the boys led me through the school to the Book Fair that was going on in the library. So I made them a deal, we go to the conferences first and if it goes well they can get a book or two. Well we left with 2 books plus some goodies (book mark, pencils, erasers etc)
Nathan- the average for reading is a 62 Nathans score is a 128! He is excelling in all subject except "using his time wisely" Nathan is known by other mom's and teachers as Mr Social. So he just needs to work on shutting his mouth (j/k)
Tyler- loves school so much and is in the highest groups for writing, spelling, math and science. Reading is another issue.. they have this test that they have a bunch of words they call "non sense words" they are 3 letters that don't make up a word. example- hoj. The idea is to make sure the child sounds out the right sounds and knows that's not a word. Well Tyler trys to make it a word :) Mrs. King is not worried at all but Tyler just needs to practice (reading) even more then are normal reading time. So are plan of action is... instead of 1 book a night we will do 1 books that is "easy" for Tyler then add a second book that is a little bit more challenging. Mrs King thought that was a great idea and thinks in no time Tyler will be where he needs to be.
So over all the boys got A's for this conference!
